What are advantages of Solar Energy?

It doesn't need fuels and it doesn't produce waste or pollutionIn sunny countries, solar energy can be used to get electricity to a remote place, where it's hard to get electricity. Solar energy is handy for low-power uses such as to power garden lights and battery chargers, or to help your electricity bills for your home. (4) When solar panels are located on a buildings, they have a minimal impact on envrionment. (1) It can create a job oppotunities. And Solar Energy is FREE! (4)

What are disadvantages of Solar Energy?

It can't work at night. Very expensive to build solar power stations. (4) The amount of energy depends on the location, time of the day, time of year, and weather conditions. Large solar thermal power plants can harm desert ecosystems if they are not managed properly. Birds and insects can be killed if they fly into a concentrated beam of sunlight, which can be created at solar power tower.  Some solar thermal systems need to use potentially hazardous fluids to trasfer heat that can be harmful to us and environment if they are not handled and disposed correctly. The sun can't deliver much energy at one time at one places, so a large surface areas are required to collect the useful amount of energy. (1)
